Roadtrip and Jazzfestival in Molde

Last week I drove up north, to Molde, about 400km from Fresvik through Brattvåg, where one of my best friends live with his wife and daughter. It was a nice drive and it took me about 8 hours because of the ferries and pit stops.
I arrived Molde at 9:15 PM, and I had to start work at 10 PM, so it was quite a rush, but got ready in time. You might ask yourself what I was working with when starting at 10 PM, but the answer is simple. Bartender. I worked here during my years in university, and the bar manager wanted me to work for him during the Jazz festival. During this week the city is filled with people from all over the world, so the bars need extra help.
It's great to be working behind the bar again, it's two years ago since I came back for the Jazz festival, and I've missed it a bit, even though my work is not as healthy and "giving" as my previous job (personal trainer).
I worked Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and could therefore party on Thursday and Saturday.
During the week I met so many old friends and got some new ones as well. I hope I will be able to stay in touch with most of them so I can spend more time together.
So I went to a great party on Sunday, and drove home on Monday. My plan was to drive the quickest way back to Fresvik (about 5-6 hours), but after driving about an hour, I saw a sign pointing towards Åndalsnes, which is further east. Åndalsnes is a town famous for it's spectacular nature. And since the weather was absolute stunning (sunny and 25 degrees) I HAD to go on a hike. I drove in to Åndalsnes and up Trollstigen, which is one of Norways most famous roads.
Trollstigen
When I got up on the top, I parked the car and hiked up a 1450 meters high mountain. It was an amazing trip but at the same time dangerous at times. Without water, mobile service or food it could have been bad if I slipped and injured myself. When I got up to the top I met two girls, who I followed back down, 'cause they actually knew where the path was. Much safer. When we got half way down I decided to go for a swim and jumped in the ice water. It was cold but so refreshing! The girls stayed by the water to tan and swim, but I had to continue my  journey.
After I had about 6 hours driving, but who cares when you can sing your lungs out and nobody cares?!
At 11PM I got home to Fresvik! After an amazing time in Molde.

I forgot my GoPro camera home, so I didn't take any photo's during my trip. I will post more photo's from internet when I get more time
