Picture, pictures and more pictures. Not in order, sorry.

Hello there! Picture from Cape Maclear, with my lunch

On a windy bus. Windows open (and that was good)
Wrooom
Here in Lilongwe with som Amarula. Tasty!

Bought myself a new diary in Malawi. Here it is.
This is from the bus. Raw/Dried grasshoppers
The shields and drums were pretty cool. Drive by.

Had to try the grasshoppers straight away. On the bus
I wasn't too impressed

Back in Lilongwe I bought a rum sachet at the store. Here with a cup of Amarula

My bag of grasshoppers cost me 50 cent (200 malawian kwatcha)

Our pickup broke down, yaaaay.....:/

A tea room in Malawi?! I've been looking everywhere for those in the UK!

Frying the grasshoppers in the back yard

Here Richard is cooking, and some other locals looking

All done!

Some nshima and grasshoppers, with salt. Very good.

Spider on my laptop

After a day on the pickup my hair looked funny

My first day in Cape Maclear. Enjoyed a good book on the beach

View over Cape Maclear, Thomi Island

Ready for my day kayaking on Lake Malawi

The tire exploded on the road

Panorama picture from my lodge

I got a mug of tea/coffee every morning, and sometimes I had to bring my book so I could finish it

A picture taken from one of my hiking trips

We had to drive in the back of a pickup to find an ATM that worked

This one was out of order

Richard invited me for lunch and served me nshima and pumpkin leaves with ground nuts

South African dish, made be Noleen, the owner of the Thumbi View Lodge

Be bright, travel light! Had to do some Booming laundry in the sink.

This is Doctor Bob, a very funny guy who replaced the old Thumbi View Lodge with a new one. His wife painted the picture in the background. Both very nice people.

This is Piet with his misses. They made me breakfast/lunch every day. Great food, thank you.

On the road home. People selling stuff by our bus window

Soda/water 3 kwatcha!
